Halloween Spirits

Halloween Spirits

I hope that everyone had a safe and happy Halloween this weekend! We had a great time with family and the things that I saw neighbors do to keep things safe and fun for their little ones was amazing and wonderful to see. Just brings home the fact that we are very adaptive to change and while this year has not been the best that we've seen, we will do what we can do to adapt to our environments. So much is happening in our country currently that it sometimes feel overwhelming. But at the heart of things, friends and family and being a good citizen of the world is what is going to get us through this challenge that we are faced with.

Within that spirit, I wanted to share this great holiday cocktail which was a big hit for Halloween but would work just as well during the Thanksgiving holiday! We had the fire going and had a drink station set up for these and our guests really enjoyed them. Also, any opportunity to use our cutting board with 2 ramekin holders! It was the perfect set up to having everything in one place to rim the glasses and garnish the drinks. It was also pretty enough to have out on display!

PUMPKIN SPICE WHITE RUSSIANS

For the Rim -
4 gingersnap cookies, crushed
1 tsp honey

For the Drink -
1 oz good quality vodka
1 oz Kahlua
1 oz pumpkin spice cream
1 oz heavy cream

Garnish -
cinnamon stick or straw
dash of pumpkin spice

DIRECTIONS:
1. Place crumbled cookies in a small ramekin. Place honey in another. Run the rims of the glasses in the honey and then dip in the cooke crumbs to coat.
2. Put ice into the rimmed glass. Add in the Kahlua and vodka.
3. Add the pumpkin creamer and heavy cream.
4. Sprinkle some pumpkin spice on top and serve with a straw or a cinnamon stick so that guests can stir up their drinks.

This could even be an after dinner drink as it is very dessert like although I found that once people started drinking these, it was hard to stop!

Enjoy!

candle lights

candle lights

Following up on my previous post of my love of Halloween, part two of setting the scene to get everyone in the mood for a spooky evening is lighting!  You can't go wrong with candlelight. One of my favorite products that we make is our candle holder made from reclaimed wine barrels. I use this everywhere - a bath, on the patio, on window sills...pretty much anywhere that you need mood lighting. In this case, it's perfect for creating a fun coffee table centerpiece for a small Halloween gathering. With 5 non-scented votives, it creates enough light to make an impact and if you have appetizers set out on the table, it doesn't distract from the yummy smells. Many of us also have faux fireplaces that are a decorative touch but don't actually hold fires or even have wood burning ones in which you don't actually want to light because it's not cold enough. This candle holder is long enough to fill the cavity of the fireplace and perfectly fill the space. Once lit, it gives off enough light to make the fireplace come alive. In my case, we have a gas fireplace so by putting the candle holder on the coffee table, it just creates more lighting throughout the space. As you can see in the photo, I also utilized our medium crate in my favorite color for this holiday to elevate the centerpiece and really showcase the candle holder. I really just love products that you can use for any occasion and for so many things!

Mid Week Renewal

Mid Week Renewal

Who else can't believe that it's only TUESDAY?! Is it just me or has this week crawled by? When I need a pick me up after a long day, there's really only one thing that will do the trick. That's a warm bath with a good book and just some time away from all the hustle and bustle of life. I find that people are usually shower or bath types and I am definitely a bath lover. I feel like those that claim that showers are better just haven't had a proper bath experience. It involves either bubbles, or bath salts or a LUSH bath bomb. Add in candles and a head pillow and a place to put your glass of wine (or beverage of choice), and a really good book and you are in for an overall experience.

I mean if you are going to do it right, you should go all out! Nothing better to refocus your energy and rejuvenate your spirit. That's my go-to but everyone has their own happy places. Golfing, a lazy day at the beach, a decadent dessert at the end of the day...the list goes on for so many different people. The trick is to find yours and take a bit of time every now and again to indulge. I find that taking that time helps me to be a more productive human in the long run. Just like when I get hungry, I get super irritable. Some things my family just know about me and we all make sure that each of us gets the time that they need when they need it so that we can all live in happy harmony!

spooky scenes

spooky scenes

It's almost Halloween! Although this year won't be like any other and the trick or treaters will be a lot less, it's still one of my favorite holidays. I am one of those people that tries and decorates for all the holidays - pandemic or not! So of course the fall decorations were out but as it gets closer to halloween, I love to add just touches of those decorations out as well. I didn't focus as much on the exterior of the house this year due to that most trick or treating will be curbed given the virus and safety but I would like my family to feel like it hasn't been foregone this season.

This is one of the times that I really appreciate that our crates come in a variety of colors. I have found that the our black crates are perfect for creating spooky table/buffet centerpieces. How fun is the one that we did above? Super simple to come together with some simple pumpkins and things that I had around the house. This one was for our large island in the kitchen and hovering above it are witches hats dangling from the ceiling with fish wire. Once the lights are dimmed and the candles all lit, it really sets a spooky scene for a halloween dinner. While we may all be a bit too old to do any actual tricker or treating, I am hoping to have a few people over in a socially responsible way for a bit of a costume party and for some socializing. I have been researching some halloween cocktails that I think would be fun to pass around as well as some themed appetizers to serve. How will you be spending your halloween this year? Don't let 2020 stop you from enjoying the small things - halloween has always been a fun time for our family and we hope that it still will continue to be that way for others! Stay safe and have fun this year!

As always, you can find our black crates here:  amazon

trays for days!

trays for days!

Can I just say how much I love our wooden trays? They are so handy around the house. I literally have them in the kitchen, both bathrooms and use them for serving trays, dinner trays...you name it! They are light weight and come in multiple colors so they are super cute and functional wherever I choose to use them. As the weather has cooled down, it literally is my favorite time to just go and relax outside with a good book. One of my absolute best ways to utilize our trays is to make myself a little snack and drink to take with me while I go and relax on my little patio. This way I ensure that I can just relax and not have to leave my little nook for anything. The best part? I can load up everything that I need in the kitchen and easily transport it all in one go. I'm also thinking that these would be awesome gifts for the upcoming holidays. I have a Silhouette paper cutter and some vinyl that I could easily use to personalize the bottom of the trays with my gift recipient's name or just a fun message for the holiday. I will definitely give that a try soon and let you guys know how it goes. For now though? Time to dive into this book that I have been itching to read for awhile now and haven't had the time! Happy hump day everyone - if you can, take some time and enjoy some fresh air and spend at least 30 minutes relaxing and doing something that you absolutely love!

Obsessed!

Obsessed!

I just finished binge watching Get Organized by The Home Edit on Netflix...again! Just a bit obsessed. I love it so much and I love trolling for ideas on ways to incorporate it into homes using our products. If your kids are anything like mine, they love to read and books tend to be everywhere. We have a family room with built in shelves where we keep the bulk of them but every one of us always have a few books going at a time. This idea, which was presented by Better Homes and Gardens, was perfect. By hanging some shelves at appropriate kid heights for the current books that they are reading, you can create the perfect decorative place for your kids to easily access the books while maintaining an organized space. DIY All Day Long!

DIY All Day Long!

I love DIY projects! Especially if I can be the brainchild behind the idea (i.e. find DIY tutorials online) and provide all the tools and inspiration for someone (i.e. husband) to make it. Now don't get me wrong...I am as handy as the next person but doesn't mean that I love that part of it. In the garden? Absolutely. In the house? Maybe not so much. The internet is a glorious thing - so many DIY'er's out there and while surfing the web, I ran across so many cute ideas that could apply to some of our products. In particular, our main product line, our crates. The amount of DIY projects using these versatile items is unbelievable. One that I ran across I particularly liked. Especially since he created a step by step way to make it online. The picture above is his creations - the cutest coffee table compiled with large crates.

Check out how he did it (link below!).  With just a few simple tools and some inexpensive parts, I think just about anyone at any skill level building things could put this together. The fact that it has wheels is a bonus plus all the different compartments makes this both functional as well as decorative. Now how do I slip these plans to my husband without any backlash? Maybe I will wait a bit!

Organization Movement

Organization Movement

You guys! This new show came out on Netflix and if you are like me during this time of pandemic, I have been watching way more TV than usual. I completely binged on this show called, Get Organized with The Home Edit! Have you seen it yet? It is so addicting and makes me feel like doing more projects around the house. Purchasing their book is on my to-do list because there is just something calming and centering about watching them completely transform a room and bring organization into it. When the world seem out of our control, it's amazing to be able to control one aspect of your life and that is your home. Their show and their company is so inspiring and I want to bring a bit of their magic into our products.

I love this one blog (the picture above is from their site) and they have some of the most creative DIY projects. I saw this picture on their site and it reminded me so much of the show. The team behind the blog are Elsie and Emma and they have also written a few books. The picture above is one of theirs that I think was featured on their book. Their use of crates was phenomenal and I can't wait to try something similar in my own home. How many of you have a space that could use some zoning (that is the term that The Home Edit uses on their show)...where things are organized into categories. Setting up a wall of our crates that are all labeled to zone out all the things that we want to keep organized and separate just brings happiness to my soul. I can totally see this happening either in our garage where the tools and supplies and backstock that we keep there is out of control or even in a craft room so that I can see exactly where everything is when I need it instead of digging things out and creating a bigger mess everything I want to work on something specific. By using crates as well, you an add it to a wall as a decorative piece to the room...effectively hiding everything in plain site. It is so genius. Check out their blog for more ideas if you get the chance (links below). And get your crates today at today so you can get started on your next project! Picture credit: A Beautiful Mess

tight spaces

tight spaces

Are you a passionate gardener but don't have the outdoor space that you wish that you did? We hear this a lot. In fact, many retailers are responding to this and creating and selling some creative planters specifically for those that live in city spaces that have small outdoor spaces. Why compromise your love of flowers and gardening when you don't have to? I personally live in a suburban home with tons of outdoor space but I can imagine the excitement of living in a big city in a downtown space where everything is in walking distance and you are surrounding by restaurants, bars and coffee shops. How fun would that be??

Well get excited because At Home on Main is developing new products even as I am blogging today. The picture above is just one of them! How amazing is the planter above? Building up is a great way to maximize space and add color to your balcony or patio. This planter is super versatile as well...we have used this to store vegetables in our kitchens like garlic, onions and potatoes as well as fruits like lemons and limes. What a great way to get those items off of your countertops/islands! We have even used this in playrooms to hold all those stuffed animals and small toys. It is a great addition to the At Home on Main's product line where we like to create products that can be used in multiple ways! What would you fill yours with? Keep checking back to find out when this planter goes live with our various retail partners to get yours!

quarantine cocktails

quarantine cocktails

Happy hump day! This morning I decided that I need some cocktails for a successful week so far! I have my bar cart of goodies and some fresh jalapeños from my garden that I am itching to use. What better treat today than a skinny pineapple vodka cocktail?? If you haven't tried some spicy, sweet cocktails before, this is the time. I love the combination and since most jalapeños are not super spicy (especially if you remove the seeds and membrane), it is perfect for me. I don't like to burn up my tastebuds but just a hint of spice balanced with the sweet tartness of pineapple, makes this the perfect summer sipper. You do have to infuse the vodka in advance so takes a bit of planning. I never really think about having cocktails until that day so you can do like I do and infuse the vodka in the morning for evening cocktails or if you are having a get together, you would want to infuse a big batch of it the night before to get the most flavor.

Doesn't the bar cart look cute? I love using our crates to keep everything nice and tidy and also it's easy to pull out to the kitchen island to mix up drinks and return everything in it's place. Handy and functional! Check out all of our colors - you can compliment your kitchen/bar cart to match your decor style!

Spicy Pineapple Cocktail

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup vodka
1 jalapeño, seeds removed and sliced
2 tablespoons pineapple juice
6 ounces sparkling water
Squeeze of fresh lime

DIRECTIONS:
1. Infuse the vodka by adding it with the jalapeño into a glass jar. Ideally let it sit overnight to get the most flavor. If you can’t wait like me, just infuse it in the morning for evening cocktails.
2. For the cocktail, combine one shot of the jalapeño infused vodka (1.5 ounces) with the pineapple juice and the sparkling water. Add a squeeze of lime.
3. Add ice, a pineapple wedge and a  jalapeño slice for garnish.

Enjoy!

Last days of summer

Last days of summer

We are quickly shooting into Fall and I for one can't wait. This year has been challenging (to say the least!) and I am ready for a fresh new year. One of the things that I will miss is all the fresh flowers that summer brings. Having said that, I am more than ready for some cooler weather and the leaves changing colors. Plus all the pumpkin flavors to come back into my life! I am very excited about some of the things that we have been developing, particularly for smaller, tighter spaces. We are getting very close to rolling out some of our new products and I think they will be well received. As I sit out on my patio and just take in the last of the warm weather and reflect on all the things that 2020 brought, I am filled with hope. Even though it has been challenging, some great things have also developed. The extra time that we got to spend as a family for one. The ways that the world has united when faced with a pandemic or when faced with injustice is another. So while there have been times when we all just wanted to pull the covers over our heads, looking towards the future and digging our heels in to adapt to new circumstances is what makes us all hope for a better future. I, for one, am hopeful and excited to see what that brings! Stay safe and well and let's all care about each other.

Home Schooling

Home Schooling

Many of ya'll are homeschooling these days and or doing a combo of homeschooling along with in school learning. Either way, while at home, finding the space to set up a "school" learning center for your kids can definitely be a challenge. If you don't have an office in your home already or perhaps it's already in use as you and/or your spouse now work from home when you once didn't, you are already struggling to find some space that would be conducive for learning. I am already doing this so I thought I would share on the blog in case anyone else is looking for ideas. I am using our large chalkboard crates as double duty as portable "work" stations. You could easily do this for the kids or if you have sacrificed your home office to them and find yourself moving from coffee table to dining table, then this is super helpful! Create your own little "go-to" box of office supplies or things that you are working on that is super portable. With our chalkboard sides, you can easily put names on them so that there are no mix ups! Just one more way that these handy crates can create some organization and flexibility!

Mix and Match!

Mix and Match!

While in quarantine, if even a small percentage is like me, lots of people are cleaning and organizing their homes. The place to start for me would be the kitchen as I am using it waaaaay more than I ever have. I like to surround myself with my favorite things in the kitchen that I use every day. I like for them to be very accessible so that I don't have to pull them all out again and again for every meal that I cook. To me, that includes my cutting boards and my measuring spoons/cups as well as my go-to spices and oils that I use most frequently. A great way to keep these things out but looking neat and decorative in the kitchen is to mix and match some of our products. Our large crates are perfect for holding cutting boards if you are like me and have a substantial amount of them. I put all my essential cooking "tools" in one our trays that I keep by the stove so that it's in easy reach.

Mixing and matching things is fun and many of our products come in a variety of colors that you can coordinate with your space.  I also love using the crates in my pantry where I can keep my vegetables and fruits so that I can easily see them.  We are also a big oatmeal family - so one of my favorite ways to use one of our crates is to create an "oatmeal center" - everything all in one place that I can easily pull down from my pantry and have all my stuff together.  Cuts the preparation time in half!  I do the same thing with a baking crate.  People who rather bake from a box would think differently if they only knew that the time consuming part of baking something from scratch is getting all the ingredients out!  My baking box includes my flours, sugars, baking powder/soda, vanilla extract, chocolate/chips, etc... When you are ready to make something like homemade pancakes or chocolate cookies, it's a breeze!  There are so many ways to utilize them and the different sizes make them so convenient!  What customized crate would you make for your pantry??

instant mood boost

instant mood boost

There are a few things that can boost my mood these days instantly. My healthy and happy family and friends of course and my garden. There's just something about fresh life growing that reaches into my soul and makes it sing. There isn't anything happier than fresh flowers. You can instantly transform a space with nature's beauty with all its vibrant colors. I automatically knew that as soon as we decided to create crates for our line that they would house many, many plants and flowers in my home. I am super fortunate to live in a place that affords a large home with more than ample yard space but we wanted to develop a product that could suit all needs. So if you are living in a smaller city space or an apartment, we have crates that come in all different sizes.

This photo was given to us by one of our customers and they absolutely love using our smallest crate for fresh flowers inside of their small home on their windowsills. How cute and cheery is that? Whether it's in a balcony or a small patio, these crates can be used to elevate and or used to beautifully frame a fresh bunch of flowers. I don't know about you, but nothing lifts my mood like seeing fresh, blooming flowers in the space where I live. We love hearing from our customers so please share with us how you like utilizing your crates and tag us on Instagram at @athome_onmain.

Happy Monday!

lemons make lemonade

lemons make lemonade

We love looking for new ways to utilize our crates! Special events are always a fun way to set them up but even for small gatherings at home, you can certainly make them work for you. When I have a few friends coming over on a hot summer day and we are planning to lounge outside by the pool, instead of going inside each time to get a refreshing drink, I love to set up a little beverage stand. It's convenient and cute and just looks super refreshing. One of my favorite drinks for when it's super hot outside is a refreshing and light lemonade. Isn't that par for the course right now...?! When the universe hands you a bunch of lemons, make lemonade ya'll. Or if you are feeling super frisky and you haven't seen your girlfriends in ages, then make a skinny margaritas!

How cute does this set-up look? What would be your drink of choice?

We have Peppers!

We have Peppers!

Don't you love gardening?? There is just something about growing something with your own hands and actually seeing the fruits of your labor. Many of our products can be used in gardens because it is a passion of mine. Everyone should have a thing or place that they hold onto in stressful times and the garden is my sanctuary especially now with everything that is happening.

I'm excited that our new product line of garden stakes is now out. I wasted very little time using them in my own gardens! Look at these peppers! Aren't they gorgeous?? Still growing but I can't wait to incorporate all the vegetables that I have growing in the garden into my meals. As we limit our forays out into public areas like the grocery stores, it's rewarding to know that you can produce your own produce right here at home. As an added bonus, you know exactly what you are eating and how your food was grown. I hope to share this passion with my own kids and can't wait to feed them food that I grew myself so that they can appreciate the art of it. Once our farmer's markets are open again in full force and it is safe to do so, I would love to take them there so that they can fully appreciate the love and care that goes into growing fresh local food. Look for our garden stakes at lowes.com or by going to this link!

Weekday Meal

Weekday Meal

We love when we get pictures from our friends and customers using our products!! My friend who threw the baby shower for her friend started her own blog and she has cooking videos as well as recipes on there. I love that she has some of our products and promotes some of our products. She made this amazing salmon in the air fryer and I was ecstatic to see that she used our wooden wine barrel platter to plate her creation! She shared her photo with me - doesn't it look delicious? You should definitely check out her website if you get the chance - she uses a lot of our products in her photography and also has links to where to get them at the bottom of her posts. Meanwhile, she shared her recipe for this delicious, healthy and easy meal made in her air fryer. I am excited to try it!

Spicy Sweet Salmon

INGREDIENTS:
-- 2 1-inch thick salmon fillets
-- 2 Tbsp honey
-- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
-- 1 tsp garlic powder
-- 1 tsp chili flakes
-- sea salt to taste (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat your air fryer for 400F for 5 minutes.
2. Slightly warm up honey in the microwave.
3. Wash and dry the salmon filets.
4. Mix together well the soy sauce, garlic powder and chili flakes into the warmed honey.
5. Create a small foil packet the same approximate size of your air fryer basket. This is to catch the yummy juices and keep it with the fish and also makes clean up a breeze!
6. Place both filets in the foil packet.
7. Spoon the honey-chili mixture onto each, making sure to coat the sides of the salmon.
8. Then, carefully place the salmon fillets foil packet in the preheated air fryer at 400F for 8 minutes (make sure to check on it - you may need to increase/decrease your time depending on the thickness of your salmon.
9. When time is up, carefully remove it and plate. Depending on your soy sauce (I like to use gluten free, low sodium), you might want a light sprinkle of sea salt.

Enjoy with your favorite side dishes! I like to add veggies to the air fryer right after with a simple spray of avocado oil and salt and pepper.

Easy breezy and healthy! She also has a quick video with it all coming together which you can check out here: https://www.themonskerlife.com/post/spicy-sweet-salmon

reset. renew. repeat often.

reset. renew. repeat often.

So one of the things that I need to remind myself of (especially while the world seems not under our control), is to take moments for yourself to reset itself. I mean from the soul. We often feel like we have to be the ones to hold everything together and be the strong ones for the family. It all starts with being strong for yourself first. My favorite escape is taking a soothing bath and just letting things go for a little while. Just concentrating on quieting the mind and refocusing on myself. It sounds amazing because it is but it's also not easy carving out the time to do it. Life does get in the way and we tend to re-prioritize ourselves last.

I like having a bath tray made up of goodness to remind me that it's important to take these moments every once in awhile. I used to go and get manicures and pedicures often and used that time to slow my world down for the moments that I let someone else take care of me. With the quarantine, that hasn't been the best option so these days, I create my own spa. What is your favorite method to de-stress lately?

Then it's simple to assemble - just cut each one into 9 bite size squares and stack 3 on a wooden food skewer and top with a slice of strawberry. 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon 6-8 slices bread (a simple but really good soft white sandwich bread)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract Butter as needed

INSTRUCTIONS
- Whisk together the half and half, eggs, cinnamon and vanilla extract in a big bowl
- Place griddle or pan over medium heat and melt enough butter in pan to coat the surface

A Perfect Shower.

A Perfect Shower.

So my gal pal sent me the pictures from the baby shower from yesterday. A great time was had by all and the pictures looked amazing! She went with a brunch theme and had a bunch of miniature food so that all the guests could try a bit of everything and they were a huge hit. She mentioned that some of the guest's favorites were these small French toast bites that are pictured above as well as small handmade quiches which was an easy way for her to provide vegetarian and non-veg selections to hit all of her guest's palates. She was super surprised how fun the "make a onesie for the new mom" station went and she said that the things that each of the women came up with were inspiring and fun. Pictured above was one that her mom made that she loved. As fun as the event ended up, she was exhausted afterwards but the new mom had so much fun, that it was completely worth it for her. As a bonus, my friend provided the recipe that she used for her French toast bites and she got her cute food picks from our partner at amazon. I will post the recipe for those interested in another post. The best part - you can make them in advance and put them in the oven at 200F to keep them warm. Right before serving, she just dusted them with powdered sugar for presentation. It was literally the easiest menu item that she made that day so that definitely sounds like my sort of recipe!

Baby Brain…

Baby Brain…

As mentioned in my previous post, a team member of mine is planning a baby shower for her good friend and it is approaching quickly.  Her brain has been stuck on all sorts of ideas for the shower and sometimes Pinterest can be a lifesaver (as much as a nightmare)! Exhibit A: giveaways. I personally love giving live plants because they last and grow and, in my opinion, is much less wasteful then flowers no matter how beautiful they are.  I think that the succulents she ended up turned out adorable. The only challenge left for her (she has a perpetual black thumb - no joke!) is keeping them alive until Sunday! Exhibit B: a make your own onesies station. I've seen this a ton of times at all the baby showers that I have attended and I love this activity because people can be creative and the baby mama can also take them home with her. I also know that she will be running around the day of the shower making sure everything is flowing and everyone is happy so she wanted to make hers beforehand. It’s also a nifty way to show guests different ways to create their own and make them really special. I saw the that she made based on her Pinterest search and I absolutely loved it! I mean...can she make me one???  Next debate she is having is whether or not to make a full cake or mini cakes or maybe even a bundt cake... It’s a brunch sort of event and normally I’m a cupcake girl but I’m kind of digging the whole bundt cake idea. I'm sure that she will work it out but she definitely wants to use a crate to elevate it on a dessert table. She says that it adds interest and height and just makes the whole dessert display pop.  I can't wait to see what she comes up with and I have tasked her to keep taking photos so that I can brag out it here!

Celebrate the Moments!

Celebrate the Moments!

So one of the gals that works with me was an event planner in her pre-Corona life and you know what they say...once an event planner, always an event planner! This means that she absolutely loves throwing a good party and sees everything as possible party props and serving utensils. With our current products, she is like a treasure trove for me to re-think and re-imagine all the ways that they can be used for any event that I am throwing. She's currently in the process of helping to throw a baby shower for one of her really dear friends (Rona babies is a real thing guys!).

She had a great idea during this new Corona-era.  She had ordered a sewing machine (her hobby addiction is strong). While she had never sewed a thing in her life, she saw all these incredible people sewing masks for our intrepid healthcare warriors and she wanted to do her part.  Well, based on her rantings, it seems as if it is not easy.  Apparently even getting the thread through the machine is a task!  Every time I talk to her, she is literally spending all her time mastering the basics.  She finally was able to make a decent mask and had this idea to make some as favors for the baby shower.  How ingenious is that?  It also has the double benefit of having masks available for those women attending that would feel more comfortable within a small crowd. Aren't they cute guys?

Using our small crates for a centerpiece was a no-brainer.  She loves to bake so using them for a cake/cupcake/mini dessert/mini food holder is her favorite thing to do...our different sized crates had absolutely no chance not being used! Celebrating with a good party is just what all our souls need right now and what better way than to celebrate a new life coming into this world. So while 2020 is not off to the best of starts, I am still, as always, hopeful for the future.

Beach Day!

Beach Day!

Who else misses the beach?? As much as I would love to go and lay out on the sand and hear the water, it's still not the time to indulge. The next best thing? Create a bit of the beach mentality in your outdoor space! You absolutely don't need much space (more later on decking out small spaces!) but you can still feel like you are only a day away from a beach adventure! How cute are our rustic handmade shelves?? You can dress them any way that you like and they really pop on a wall. I am going to have so much fun playing with ways to change them up based on my moods. One of my new projects is to turn a small outdoor space into a functional multi use area. This shelf would be a perfect way to all sorts of fun things on my plant wall! More to come as I set it all up! Our mastermind creative team is also looking into offering this with a gold finish! Just a touch more fanciness to any space and let's be honest, who doesn't love a bit of gold? Can't wait to see what they come up with!
